Originally as folk duo formed in 1972 by husband and wife Mike and Mandy Morton, they released their debut album "Jack With A Feather" in 1975 under the name Spriguns Of Tolgus. It contained mostly traditional tunes and was written by Steeleye Span's Tim Hart which gives a fair indication of where they were coming from musically at the time.

Mainhorse signed originally to Polydor Records in 1970 and released their self-titled debut in 1971. Along with Patrick Moraz the other musician of note was Bryson Graham who would go on to play with Gary Wright in Wonderwheel and then join Wright in a re formed Spooky Tooth in 1972. The album has been re mastered personally by Patrick Moraz for this release.

Mustard is the second solo album by Roy Wood, who wrote and produced every track and painted the cartoon-style cover. It was completed and released about the same time as he disbanded his group Wizzard. He played all the instruments, and contributed all vocals apart from guest appearances by Annie Haslam, Phil Everly, ex-Move and Wizzard bassist Rick Price, and co-engineer Dick Plant.
